      本文通过对台湾地区图书资讯学博硕士论文内容的分析,梳理其图书资讯学研究历程,把握研究现状,预测未来发展方向。利用主题分类编码表,对 “台湾博硕士论文知识加值系统”所收录的1982—2013年间的1 216篇博硕士论文,进行内容分析和计量分析。将30年来台湾地区图书资讯学研究发展划分为三个阶段:1982—1993年为奠基阶段,1994—2005年为转型阶段,2006年至今为突破阶段;图书资讯学研究的重点仍是资讯服务与使用者研究,图书资讯学与现代信息科技发展亦步亦趋,渐呈与社会及相关领域或学科融合之势;其未来的研究重点在基础理论、学科融合、数位技术、社会交融四个方面。图1。表3。参考文献24。

This paper is written from the angle of Taiwan’s theses and dissertations, which were issued in “Digital library of theses and dissertations in Taiwan” during 1982-2013 in the field of library and information science as the analysis object. The total number of the analyzed sample is 1 216. By using the subject classification code table, the content analysis and quantitative analysis are made in order to comb the development path, understand the current status and predict the future trends of library and information science research in Taiwan area of China.
Content analysis is used as the main method and quantitative analysis as the supplementary means. Firstly, the annual publication number, the number and proportion of the published dissertations in every institution are quantitatively analyzed by using the Excel in order to reveal the external features. Secondly, the content analysis is used according to the subject classification code table which has ten categories and sixty-six subcategories made by this paper to study the subjects and time series, revealing its content features. The ten categories include theories and development of library and information studies, library and information studies education, collection development, organization of information and knowledge, information services and user studies, management of libraries and information service institutions, information systems and retrieval, digital collections and e-learning research, information and society and application of information in related disciplines. Finally, it elaborates the history, current status and future trends of information science research in Taiwan by combining the results of the content analysis with the quantitative analysis.
Three main research results are gained. The first result is that the history of library and information science studies in Taiwan can be roughly divided into the foundation phase (1982-1993), the transition phase (1994-2005) and the breakthrough phase (2006- present). The second result is that the core subjects of current phase contain seven contents, such as information users behavior, information services content, general management of libraries, informetrics and knowmetrics, human resource and performance management of libraries, information literacy and information services quality. It also shows five features: both information services users and providers are focused on; the quality of information services product is promoted innovatively; the value of library and information resources is deeply dug; the endless possibilities of the information and library science are actively explored, and the basic theoretical studies follow the beaten track. The third result is that future studies will focus on the four aspects, which are the basic theory, technology integration, digital technology and social integration.
〖JP+1〗The paper is of a unique perspective that reflects and presents the whole picture of library and information science research in Taiwan by theses and dissertations. This is because doctoral students and postgraduate students play a leading role in academic research activities, and their dissertations can be regarded as an important medium for understanding the development of a discipline, thus the situation of library and information science research can be reflected more directly. In addition, the content analysis criteria for classification of theses and dissertations proposed by this paper is compiled after adjusting and testing according to the actual samples, taking the classification table of the field and academic expertise of library and information science research in Taiwan as a reference. It fits not only for the regional characteristics but also the actual situation. The subject classification code table brought by this paper can present the coupling relationship among the subjects of library and information science research in Taiwan area and provide an accurate and reliable reference for researchers to study the issue further. 1 fig. 3 tabs. 24 refs.
